Organic Exemption from Assessment  

The Agricultural Marketing Service is amending 17 research and promotion programs to exempt producers and marketers of products eligible to be labeled as 100 percent organic. Programs currently exist for blueberries, beef, cotton, dairy, eggs, fluid milk, Hass avocados, honey, lamb, mangos, mushrooms, peanuts, popcorn, pork, potatoes, soybeans and watermelons.
